Mustangs advance to CIF-SS Semi-Finals!

The Yorba Linda Mustangs beat Charter Oak High School 45- 28 in a quarterfinal match-up Tuesday night to advance in the Div. 3AA CIF-SS Boys Basketball Championships. Yorba Linda will be the Home team playing South Torrance (#4) Friday night at 7 PM in a semifinal match-up.

Senior point guard Sharthak Mukhopadhyay led the Mustangs with 15 points.  A strong shooting performance by senior Cody Long excited the YL fans as he made three 3-point shots for 9 points in the contest.  Sophomore Brad Johnson had a strong game with 7 points, 7 rebounds and 2 steals.
